New York Pirates Too? In our last post we introduced the idea of Profiling- a machine/computer view of the world that reduces individual people to becoming a number- A tag line in a program which then lacking humanity- allows the Holocausts past and future to take place dependent upon the irrational but totally Fixed Profiles created. But here I am attempting to break- And will probably fail in my attempt- To break the mold upon the assumption that the wealthiest- and richest people in New York history should be accorded because of that wealth and riches- Accorded the Status of ‘Sinless Perfection’-Profile. Thus some people see the successive John D Rockefellers as being saints because they attended church and had considerable influence in the direction of the development of American Christianity by the way they used their monies- And other people have a less worthy view of these men. In our first Pirate Post Captain Kydd lived on Wall Street and had a pew in the Lower Manhattan church that is there- Yet he hung as a Pirate! Look personally I Do Not Have An Opinion on Captain Kidd; John D Rockefeller; or the men I am writing about here. My standard of judgment is to have No Standard of Judgment- Why? Well two reasons: If I develop a standard of judgment I have effectively Profiled a person and I don’t want to do that because not judging I can endlessly find out more and more about a person and their society- so I leave things open. But the second reason is Legal. The Chief Judge of History- Yes a Jew- (And Adolf Hitler in the summing up of his 1924 court case makes a final appeal to him!)The Chief Judge has made a fundamental ruling found in Matthew chapter seven verse two- and St Paul and St James independently make similar rulings- And so we can tell exactly what is going to happen to USA Judicially simply by seeing what decisions USA has made in respect of things- And those decisions then set the standards against which …. Well I guess by now… We can say…. Standards applying which will see the certain cannot be avoidable destruction of Empire State! ‘A rival tabulator developed by another Census Bureau technician named James Powers would be utilized. Power’s machines were much faster than Hollerith devices. They enjoyed several automated advances over Hollerith and were vastly less expensive… But then in 1910 in an unbelievably arrogant maneuver, Hollerith actually tried to stop the United States from excising it’s constitutional mandated duty to conduct a census claiming that the Census Bureau was about to deploy new machinery that in some way infringed his patents… but the courts eventually ruled against Tabulating Machine Company. Hollerith had lost big… The next year a disillusioned embittered Hollerith simply sold out completely. Enter Charles Flint, a rugged individualist who at the edge of the nineteenth century epitomized the affluent adventure capitalist… Flint made millions trading commodities. Weapons were one of those commodities and Flint didn’t care who he sold them to…. He licensed the manufacture of the newly invented Wright Brothers areoplane to Kaiser Wilhelm to help launch German military aviation … indeed Flint would happily sell guns and naval vessels to both sides of a brutal war… Of Flint it is written, ‘Had anyone called him a merchant of death. Flint would have wondered what the fellow had in mind. Such was the nature of the Western World prior to the Great War’. Flint had also perfected an infamous business modality, the so called ‘Trust’. Trust s were the anti competitive industrial combinations that often secretly devoured competition and ultimately lead to a government crackdown….Newspapers of the day dubbed Flint the father of trusts. The title made him at once a glamorous legend (Like a Pirate) and the villain of his era…. The commercial extension of his ingenuity (Hollerith) and turbulent persona was now in the hands of a more skilled international manipulator, Charles Flint. Hollerith was willing to make millions, but only on his terms. Flint wanted millions- on any terms. Moreover Flint wanted CTR/IBM’s helm to be captained by a businessman, not a technocrat.
